My husband and I are reconsidering our trip to Paris in late Nov and want to just go back to the Dominican Republic again...the thought of freezing is Paris is just too much! I am a firm believer that good deeds need not be announced to everyone. I like to do nice things for people in an anonymous fashion. Some people like to let everyone know when they have done something for someone else, but I think that takes away from the special deed and that they are only doing it for their own ego. Any thoughts on this?

Is this really a bunch of bunk? Can we REALLY do ANYTHING? Can a homeless man be president? Can a retarded person be a doctor? Does someone that comes from a lower class family really have a chance to be anything, when their family is depending on them to go out there and work and help support them, right then? Shouldn't we be more realistic and instill our children with the truth? " You can be anything" is just a fantasy. Yes, we should encourage our children, but shouldn't we also teach them how the world works? What will benefit them more?

my husband attends 3-4 meetinmgs a week, I feel it is too much and feel that he has put his meetings ahead of his family. He really was not a heavy drinker, would stop after work at the bar and drive home. Did not drink at home and would go weeks without drinking at all. Also spends weekends driving those around who,ve lost their licences. Isn't that TOO much?
