I do like funky, punky haircuts. I have very short hair.
These are the styles I like, does anyone know a good place, where to get that done. I just moved from Europe out here.

My boyfriend and I are thinking of moving to Arizona. We have a small child in elementrary school so of course we need a place with a great education system. He's a truck driver who drives a set of doubles and was told Arizona is the only state other than Michigan (our state) that allows doubles on the roads. I'm just wondering what some good areas are to start researching as far as employment and school systems. I don't want to live in a retirement city nor do I want a city like Phoenix. I'd really like a nice suburb.

Thanks!!!

Since it is finally cool enough to enjoy the outdoors in the winter months, wouldn't it be better to have longer daylight to enjoy outdoor activites?

My family and are anticipating a move to to AZ due to job transfer. We are trying to find a nice area near East McDowell Road perferably Scottsdale, AZ or somewhere in Chandler. In truth we are not familiar with either place but as a start we are looking to rent a three bedroom home for no more than $1000.00 but in a descent area. Later on I want to buy a home. Is this possible? and what is a nice area to live in Arizona?

My boyfriend and i are taking an 8-day vacation to Scottsdale in January....staying at a resort. I just want some ideas for stuff to do, both during the day and at night. We are already going to a Suns game. Tell me some cool bars/clubs, fun daytime activites, places to visit, good restaurants (GOOD ones, fine dining) etc! I want to make the trip worth it!

Thinking about relocating from New York to AZ. What can you tell me about Mesa Phoenix and Tempe? For an individual no longer of college age, but not ready to retire ..... What is the job market like - is it hard to find work and what types of jobs are most popular? What is the cost of food like - grocery shopping? What is the approximate cost of eating out let's say for lunch? Being from the East Coast eating a lot of seafood, and access to diverse cultural foods....What's to eat in Arizona? With the hot temperatures - What is the style of dress for work typically and/or just hanging out (I'm guessing wearing all black isn't going to make it in Arizona)? What are the people like - laid back or constantly on the go? What is the wildlife like there? Guessing squirrels are not a common sight in Arizona. Is there acceptance of cultural diversity in these areas? What is the cultural mix like in Mesa? Why is crime so high in Phoenix?

I'm heading to Phoenix on business in January and am thinking of extending my trip to do some sightseeing. I thought maybe I'd check out Sedona and perhaps the Grand Canyon, but I want to avoid bad weather, snow in particular. I'd be up for seeing cool things in the city and the desert, but I'm not an "artsy" person. I wouldn't mind a good hike (no more than 6 miles or so).

What do people recommend I see in January?
