Other - United States - March 2007

My girlfriend and I currently live in Manitou Springs, CO which is a beautifull and unique mountain town. The problem is all of the negitive growth and wealth that brought the generic condos and is destroying the integrity of the city. Anyone know of other historic artist friendly towns that seem to be less vulnarable to this type of change? We've been looking around colorado as well as Eureka Springs, AR and Port Townsend, WA although we do not plan on moving to th West Coast. Any Ideas would be helpfull.

I'm an 18 year old girl and me and 10 of my friends want to go to myrtle beach this summer. June actually and I wanted to know if there are ANY of you who know of any good hotels that most young people would go to. (And when I mean young I don't mean 30. More like 17-21 years old.)
What type of hotel would you recommend for a group of 11 teenagers, (ages 17-19) to go to..that's right on a beach, near great shopping, and restaurants. We'll all from New York, so that's like a 12 hour drive. So we want our 12 hour drive to be well worth it. We're looking for 3,4, even 5 star hotels! So any advice?!?!?!? Write it all down. The answer that I find the best will be stared, and who knows maybe YOU can join us! :) (just kidding but no...the advice would be greatly appreciated!) Thank You.

I am planning a trip to Fort Myers Beach FL in June. I am staying at the Gull Wing Resort.

Hi I was wondering about traveling to Maine. It has always fascinated me and I wondered if it is worth it to travel for leisure and vacation and what season would be the best. I'm guessing summer would be with all beutiful flowers and plants out. I live on the west side of the States so I really want to know if it's worth it or not. I am a 31 year old father and it will be just me and my daughter. I was thinking Bahamas or maybe even a cruise. We live in Nebraska, and i would like to take her somewhere special, but also somewhere she would enjoy being only 3 years old. I plan to be gone at least a week or two. Any suggestions? Does anyone know of any fun places to go in Missouri for a couple on their anniversary? I personally enjoy aquariums. My husband enjoys places like Bass Pro in Springfield!! There is a wonderful aquarium there but I have already seen it.

Is it a real town?
I made it up and I want to use it as a setting in a story But I dont want there to be a real place called doe creek alabama because the town is not nessecaraly a nice place to live.
