I am a 31 year old father and it will be just me and my daughter. I was thinking Bahamas or maybe even a cruise. We live in Nebraska, and i would like to take her somewhere special, but also somewhere she would enjoy being only 3 years old. I plan to be gone at least a week or two. Any suggestions? Safety is also a concern of mine. Thanks for your ideas. :)

She would probably love a Disney Cruise. Another choice would be San Diego. It has wonderful weather. You could let her play on the beach and wade in the surf. There's also the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, and Legoland (which is suppose to be great for younger children). Also take a bay cruise.

She won't be impressed with the Bahamas. The disney cruises are suppose to be real great and safe. Maybe a trip somewhere there is a beach and lots and lots of time with Daddy. She won't remember much about the destination but she will remember being with you. Even in your own backyard or at the park in your own town.

Niagra Falls, I loved it as a little kid, might scare her though
nvm, if you're gonna be gone for a week, go on a carribean cruise, they've got tons of stuff to do on the ship, and the docking points are loaded with awesome shops, and restaurants
oh wait, 3 year old daughter, she probably doesn't care much for restaurants and shops... Well how about disneyland, she'd much rather go there I'm sure than go on a cruise

Disney World for (being in the midwest) the one in California would probably be the most feasable. I am not sure a 3 year old would enjoy a cruise.

I would go to Orlando for 5 days then drive to the beach for another 3 or 4 days then fly back home. I have two young children and they LOVE doing this vacation!! Flights have been pretty good lately also.

I heard the Disney cruises are great, but I don't really know that much about them.
What about some place that has a beach, zoo, or aquarium? Kids usually like animals and who doesn't love the beach?

try disneyland or sea world. also try legoland. go to san fransisco or sumtin with alot of things to keep you and your 3 year old busy
