When I was an Fairbanks, Alaska, I came across this massive, shapeless ice statue near the pipeline, that was brightly lit at night. I later read that the statue is created by pumping water into the air, and then letting it freeze through the winter. Does anyone know what is the name of this monument?

Im going to florida on the 19th. I live in NJ. Technicaly I could drive but it would be so much easier to fly. The reasons why I want to fly are:

I have a 13 year old.
I have a 1 year old.
Its so much quicker
My car is small.

I want to drive because:

The ticket will cost close to $1,000.00.
I'm terrified to get on a plane.

I figured we could start driving Saturday night so the kids could sleep the whole way. My Husband will drive for 5 hours than I'll finish. We will stop somewhere in the middle to hang out. Then we will start again Sunday night and do the same thing. We will get to Florida by Monday.

Also we would save money because we wouldnt need to rent a car

Has anyone ever made a 20 hour trip in a car with kids????

ive been thinking of visint either NY or Cali. and id like to meet a certain celebrity which is Carmine Giovinazzo from CSI NY. does anyone know in which state he is staying on? Ny or California? im not asking for his address, just in which of the two states hes currently living.

Okay, I am coming from Wisconsin to visit. yippee right? Okay well, I have a few questions. I want to do my engagement pictures there on the beach and we will be staying in Orlando or Daytona at a Timeshare. Now, my photographer is based in Orlando. Where is the best beach or place that easy to drive to to get the best sunset and pictures on the beach? How far is Anna Maria Island from Orlando? How far is Sarasota from Orlando? How about any other place that would be really pretty? I love the ocean and can't wait to see it again. Any help you could give me is appreciated. Also, where would be the best place to go? We have been to Naples, Ft.Myers, Marco, Sanibel and South Beach/Miami. We have been to the keys. I just want a setting with palm trees, tropical and the best sunset place. Please help a northerner!

Take this warning into Consideration that there is a snow storm brewing and that the roads are going to be really bad for thr couple of days. Al of West Micgigan is under a winter snow warning or advisory. There is also a blizzard brewing so be careful if you are in michigan or travleing to michigan oer the weekend :(
