I'm from Kansas, born and raised. I love it. except in the winter (i'm freezing my butt off)

I was born and raised in NJ, but have lived in Merced Ca., Hyannis Ma., and New Hampshire.
I love New Hampshire. Not only is it beautiful. We have no sales tax, and you can really enjoy the outdoors. Although it does get snowy in the winter. I am not a winter person.
However our lakes are crystal clear, we have wonderful hiking trails, and my kids went to a one room school house from 1-3 grades.
We live in a small town, so you definately need a car to get around, there is no such thing as public transportation where we live. However we are 20 mins away from Dartmouth College and Medical Center and where there is excellent medical care.
After living here for 20+ years you know most everyone. If not to talk with, at least to see and if someone is a stranger you know it.
The best thing I like about NH is being able to go swimming free in non polluted water in the summer and the friendly people.
The thing I like worst about NH is the cold. It can get as low as 20 below zero for days on end. Although this winter has been very mild.
We usually go to California for a couple weeks in the winter so this makes it bearable.

Originally from Hawaii now in Missouri. If I won the lottery I'de move back to Hawaii. Missouri is nice but too cold, moving to Arizona where it's warm.

I live in Canada ...yes it is very cold here in the winter ...but I have done alot of traveling and Canada is the most beautiful...we get good summer's as well as winter for those of you who think Canada is always cold...... lol.....

I am from Scotland but currently live in Lithuania. It is ok here but I will go back to Scotland eventually.
