Umm, I just decided I want to move to New York, but I have no idea how to gt started. I'm 16, and I am about to start my junior year of high school. I want to move after graduation.

i live in london and am going to NY in september for my birthday. staying in soho. was wondering which club/bar do you love as a local new yorker?

my tastes are fairly varied so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I want to live in NJ - as close to NYC as I can get without actually having to bear the high living expenses and high crime. Any suggestions on a city in NJ that has direct access to NYC (train, subway) without moving there and doesn't havea high crime rate? I also don't own a car and don't want to buy one.

Can anyone help me locate the building that housed the NY Cotton Exchange in the 1950's-early 1960's? As far as I know it was and is simply called the Cotton Exhange. Would be interested in postcards, photographs, etc.... for a xmas present for my father who worked there during that time. Thanks!
