We're looking for a location on the strip not too pricey but nice. I am going with a group of girls for a weekend getaway in April. Thinking about the Mirage or Bally's but open to other suggestions

Basically for the days that I want to go, these are my top choices and cost exactly the same. Both hotels are beautiful. But this is my comparitive list....
MANDALAY BAY
awesome huge pool
nice room
nightclub i haven't heard of
500 sqf room
south of strip
VENETIAN
nice pool
awesome room
The celeb hang out club Toa
650 sqf room
smack dab in the middle of strip

we are driving there so I guess we could drive whereever we need to go. Both are such nice hotels, just need a little nudge in one direction. any help is appriciated!

I know it's not the Bellagio or Caesers, how does it compare to Monte Carlo(we stayed there in May). Does the Luxor have better rooms than Ballys? My husband says it's just a place to sleep but I want a decent room. The room at the Monte Carlo was clean but nothing fancy. Just want to make sure Bally's rooms are about the same.
Also what kind of rooms there are better? What about the Excallibur?

I am thinking about moving to Las Vegas in the next year or so. Are there realators that anyone can recommend? I am looking for a condo that is fairly new and in a nice/safe area? A place where there are more young professionals than families living would be nice as well. I am looking to buy a place if I can find something in my budget. What areas would you recommend? Something within resonable driving distance to the Strip would be good too in case I work there.

We are finally getting to relocate back to the USA after being in Germany for two years. My husband only needs a major airport for his job. I am an actress and want to be within driving distance to LA but not in California as the cost of living is outrageous (though we could afford it if we had to) I have heard Phoenix (mesa) would be a good location for us as I might be able to get jobs in that city also. However Las vegas is aproximately 1.5 Hours closer and I would think there would be opprotunity there too. What is the opinion of people who live in these areas?

I also need to make safety a high priority as I am a young female and I will be by myself for weeks at a time when my husband does have to travel. Thanks so much for your help! Also the more specific you can be about good areas to live in, comparing living costs, etc the better.

I recently went to see Circue De Solei "O" in Las Vegas. It was 105 per ticket, and they were nose bleed seats. The performance was awesome, and I was wondering if anyone knows how much those type of performers get paid? I hope a lot because the show was great, and sold out.

Whats up people? I am thinking about moving to Las Vegas. The most important question I have is what parts of the city are relatively low rent, but located in a safe neighborhood. Any help is greatly appreciated. Plus any extra info I might need is also helpful. Thanks.
