You can get a lot of free or cheap show tickets for Vegas, but any Cirque du Soleil show is always going to be expensive.
I'm glad you asked, because I really want to see Ka. I'll be watching the answers! :)

I was in Vegas last month and we went to the half price ticket place (where the big Coke bottle is - just like NYC) and the only Cirque show that was discounted was Love. I think they don't discount the really big and popular shows. But I've heard O is amazing, so it might be worth the bucks to go see it.
We paid $125 for Blue Man Group and it was worth it.

Saw O a long time ago... it was amazing. Right now i would recommend -- as mentioned earlier -- to go see LOVE. However, if your set on seeing O here is what i recommend you do:
First, join MGM Mirage players club (if not already a member) Just go to the Bellagio players club desk for help with that.
At that point just gamble with your card in the machine to rack up points. At that point return to the players club and ask if there is anything they can do to get you tickets.
Usually they will give you a deal on the tickets... or if you have a strong enough play, they will comp your tickets -- perhaps even a few nights free there too ;)
I believe you'll also get better seats to, players club is given x amount of seats which, if you went through them you would get...
But ya, i would always recommend buying tickets through Bellagio. Just try your luck, gamble a bit, try to get those tickets... and hell you may just get more than tickets ;-)

OK--In Las Vegas the biggest, most popular shows (of which "O" is one) are probably going to be sold out on the week ends...that's when the town is especially over run with peeps...I would try Jim G's suggestion above...show managers release their tickets to the cut price places, if they have a substantial bunch left over, 24 to 48 hours before the show. Check first thing in the morning for the show you want....Managers want to pack the place as much as possible...I would try a week day night if I were you..

You are not likely to find cheap tickets for that show as it sells out all the time. Your only bet is to see if any of the many folks offering time share tours will give tickets for that show. The time share folks will bug you to death as you walk the strip.

They are doing the BEATLES "Love" show now and you won't get cheap tickets for that, but splurge a bit and see the show. If you have the Love CD, then you already know just how special this music/show is; if you don't have the CD, shame on you!!

Mug someone who has tickets.
Everyday the line to wait for any extra tickets is long and starts at about noon at the box office.

If you know someone in the military they can get them for a discount. Other than that I am not sure. When I lived there I looked and could not find anything.
