Am staying there in February and am wondering what to expect when I get there.

I stayed there for a short period last year in a weekend trip with some friends. The place is clean somewhat neat; not as cool as The Venetian or Bellagio but something decent for the price you paid for it. When you go to Vegas you are never in your room anyways but I think you would have fun!

For the price it is quite good. However I can think of many better places to stay.
f you are bringing your family and you are on a budget it is perfect for you. The prices are very low, the hotel is packed with kids activities, and party/adult scene is held down somewhat.
Now if you are a single guy, you probably wont like it because of all the above mentioned reason. However, the rooms are clean and the casino is decent ( especially the sportsbook) so you will still enjoy yourself.
If you are looking for that wild Vegas experiece check out some other spots on the strip.

Pluses:
Great Location
Lower Pricing for the Main Strip
Access to the Monorail
Minuses:
Overrun by Senior Citizens and Children
Poor ventihilation
Lack of entertainment inside of the hotel
If it's your last resort and it's much cheaper, go for it. If not, try any other hotel on the main strip.

It's starting to show its age, frankly. It's gettin' a little seedy. Expect lots of families/kids running around. Good news is a "Dick's Last Resort" is opening there soon. Also, you excellently placed for walking around the South Strip.
Luxor, Mandalay Bay, and NYNY are within easy walking distance.
But if all you want is a clean bed, bathroom-hey it's not too bad.
