Did you mean that you're arriving FROM Shanghi into the US with a 10 hour layover in LA or SF or somewhere before your next leg to Las Vegas?

You'll be surprised how FAST a layover whizzes by!

I'd merely recommend that you get some sleep on the flite on the way into the US & then, once you land & get through customs, immigration & spend an hour or so finding a place to STORE YOUR LUGGAGE for the 6-7 hours before checking into the last leg, an hour or two before that flight!

Meanwhile, there are often plenty of facilities at airports for eating, showering, browsing shops & touring the immediate vicinity of the airport! Do not even venture beyond a one mile circle! Buy newspapers, books, travel magazines or buy & write postcards for the friends & family back home.

You WILL be amazed how FAST10 hours will just FLY by between flights.

Never WASTE money for a hotel when needed for less than even 18 hours! You'd have an excellent chance to fall asleep & miss the next plane!

[2 days, 13 hours n 15 minutes, til we board for our flight to Viva La$ Vega$, but who's countin...tick tick tick ;-]]
