I think the better question probably is "why is my boyfriend of 6 years going to las vegas without me?". If there is a really good reason for it, ok...o'wise, I'd be asking myself why. And if the question really is "should i let...", then my answer would be that if he has a really good reason to go without you, then you have to let him go. If you don't trust him, and that is why you are asking, then my answer is find a boyfriend you can trust as this shouldn't be an issue in a 6 year relationship. Nothing will make you more miserable than staying with someone you can't trust, and there is no excuse for it! Lots of fish in the sea, fish that will want to go to vegas with you, not their mates!

Yeah....See...I would really hope after 6 years...well, you just should even have to ask this question...guess you've got some serious trust issues.... Work on those and he can go anywhere he wants!
To those others who say he shouldn't go without you?!? What the he@@? I guess I just thought you two were independent people...not attached at the hip. I've gone to Vegas 4 times w/o bf and he has gone 2 w/o me. It wasn't the end of the world. I don't expect him to spend every waking moment with me...that would be a little...uh...STUPID of me!!

Aloha from Down Unda!
And not allow you to enjoy it too? Not just 'NO!' but 'HELL NO!'
I'M incensed, enraged & 'put out' that he'd go without you!
What kinda relationship is that? You may as well not have a boyfriend! Get yersef together & find a guy that's happy to share a weekend WITH you! (And here's an idea ~ find him in Las Vegas!)
[2 days, 14 hours n 5 minutes, til we board for OUR flight to Viva La$ Vega$, but who's countin...tick tick tick ;-]]

Should you "let" him go?
There seems to be a trust issue here. Who's he going with? And why shouldn't he go?
Every couple needs time apart now and then, but if you're worried about him having to much fun or stepping out, then I suspect the relationship isn't all it's cranked up to be.
Relax, go have some fun on your own, and compare notes. Then plan a fun weekend together. And work on the trust issues.

Yes, if you've been together for 6 years you already should have a relationship built on trust, be it Vegas, Cancun or a guy's night at the strippers.
Trust will strengthen your relationship not make it weak =)
Be confident

Sure if you don't want him to be your boyfriend much longer. Why would he want to take a solo trip to Vegas? If he has family there okay, if he is meeting friends..cool, if not, you can bet your money his solo...ain't solo!

Yes you should. If you don't trust him then you don't have a good relationship. I was married for over 30 years when my husband died. For 9 of those years, we lived in another state. Every summer I took my kid back home because there wasn't anything to do in that small town. I left him alone for two months at a time. I trusted him and knew that he trusted me.

You're his girlfriend, not his mother. He's an adult and doesn't need you to "let" him got to Vegas or anywhere else for that matter. Either you trust him or you don't. If you don't trust him, you should rethink your relationship w/him.

A couple of questions for you.
Is he going with the guys? > Then it's cool
Did he ask you to go and you had something "else" to do? > Then it's cool
If he's going "solo" and he didn't ask you to go with him > This would not be "normal"

Is there any reason not to "let" him go? If you can't trust him for a weekend, why is he your boyfriend?
