Going to Vegas with the girls- only for two and a half days- we are not going to any shows, no fancy dinners, no trinkets, no fancy clubs and I don't drink much. My girls plan to drink but I'm the designated babysitter- basically we plan on walking up and down the strip to see all the free stuff to scout for a honeymoon trip for one of the girls? Can I live within my budget?
(I should point out that both the airfare and hotel are already paid for)

I love smoking cigars while gambling and love a good cognac with it. Would it be ok and free if I ordered a Hennessy or a Remy Martin at the table and tip a buck or two?

What I mean is, do you take all the money you have allotted to your bankroll with you when you travel to Vegas? Or do you take part of it, and take out the rest through ATM's? I am just paranoid about taking one or two thousand dollars with me to Vegas (on the flight, carrying it around as I check-in, keeping it at the hotel... etc).

Is it a good idea to withdrawal through ATM's, or are you generally safe taking that much money with you? Also, do casinos cash personal checks for you?
