Kansas City

I am consdering interviewing for a job in Olathe, making more money than where I am at here in OK. Is there anyone that lives in Olathe that can give me a little inside on the town and area. I am a single male, looking to live in a moderate sized city which has things to do but Cost-of-living is not very high. I have wanted to live in Tulsa for ages, but nothing ever comes open there? How is the area as far as crime, education, clubs and nitelife entertainment?

I'm going to be in town that week and wondering is there is anything special going on. I grew up there so I am familiar with the city. I looked at the KCStar site but couldn't find anything. Concerts or anything like that? We'll be on both sides of the state line.

It was in western Kansas somewhere this past weekend. It was a 3 point something. I remember feeling one when I was a kid living in Kansas City in the 50's. Now in California but it amazes me that the midwest is just as prone as California according to the books.

I live near St. Louis now, but grew up in Kansas City and still go back on a regular basis to visit. Unfortunately, the football bug is hard to break. I would like to purchase tickets to a home game at Arrowhead for the 2007 season. When do single game tickets go on sale for the general public? I know that they will go fast, and as of today there was no ticket sales info on the Chief's website. Thanks in advance.

my family and myself went thru katrina and are afraid to stay here any longer i have a son in the misouri area so we came yp with both kansas city misouri and kansas city kansas it seems you can buy a hose there real cheap but what is it like there we are a white american family of 4 my sons at home are 11 and 16 how are the schools there are there jobs and is there a super walmart there what does this area offer for intertainment and churches is there alot of crime and what is the worst weather like and why are the houses so cheap and what is there hospitals like and is there a va hospital near there please tell me everything you may know about these areas i thank you for any advice and imformation we just want to feel safe again after katrina thank you have a great day
