I moved here from Mpls/St. Paul, MN where I'd go out 2-3 times a week with friends. I haven't been out for a drink or dancing or really, anything, since I arrived here 3 weeks ago. I'm a single 32 old woman so I don't necessarily want to go into a college-type dance club all alone, either. Do I need to go up to Denver?? I'm thinking I may need to move there for some fun...

I have lived in Houston until recently and when I went grocery shopping I couldn't believe the prices why is everything like $.30-.50 more expensive in Denver?(I have a family of six that 30 cents extra on everything adds up) Why are the house prices so outrageous? I am just needing to know why?

Could anyone tell me which of them is the best place to live and why as well the cost of live rate and crime... I'm able to transfer through my job and school all I'll need is a place to stay...I have no family or friends in either state so I'll be starting all over again alone. I hate fast city life and heat! so those two criteria's would be a great plus in my decision.

My boyfriend and I are moving to Denver in a few months. We both work at the airport but we also like to go hiking. He also has family in Loveland. We're looking for a suburb on the north side of Denver so it's close to Loveland and we'd also like to find a place that's a happy medium between the mountains to enjoy our days off and between the airport so we won't have a hectic commute. We'd like to live in a place that is safe and offers a lot of activities. We've been looking in Broomfield so far. Where else should we expand our search to. As far a location, we can look on a map, but we're not sure what the nice, safe areas are. Any help or ideas?

My boyfriend got a job offen in Denver, Colorodo, and it's kindof too expensive to live in Denver. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a little town, right by Denver, that would be cheap to rent a house in??? It has to be a house, I have 2 children and it seems quite cramped in an appartment rather than a house. Please...any information would help me right now....I live in Michigan, and I've never been to Colorodo!!!

I am being transferred to Denver this summer...my office is right on the light rail line. Which communities offer best access to the light rail. I understand that a new branch of the light rail just opened up. We want to buy a home, but we're not made out of money. Thanks! PS: I placed a similar question under the catagory of "commuting." I wasn't sure which catagory would draw responses.

We are searching for the perfect small town in Colorado to settle down and raise our family. We love to be outdoors (hiking, fishing, skiing, etc.) Hubby works at home, so jobs aren't a factor. We would like someplace with good schools and friendly people. Any ideas???
