One of my many suitors has proposed a romantic weekend away there. Would it be worth having a full pedicure beforehand, and which bikini should I pack to blend in with the locals? I hear the Auctioneer's Arms is a fine place for a seductive evening drink.

In the States, all death notices are recorded in our County Courthouses. Is there such a venue in the UK, London, Wales?

I live in Yorkshire (that's England, by the way) and would like to go camping with my bf and my 2 dogs at whit. We don't have any particular destination in mind and are happy to drive for a few hours if necessary to get to somewhere worthwhile. We want somewhere with a bit of peace and quiet where our (well behaved) rottweiller cross and newfoundland will be welcome. We like nature and history/culture. We haven't camped since we were kids so suggestions would be very welcome.
Thanks!

We've been to London dozens of times, and now we're interested in going to either Cornwall/Devon or Kent... or anywhere really! We'd love to be somewhere in the countryside and stay in a B&B, preferably within walking distance of a nice town. Sight-seeing things would be a bonus! What places have you been to that have been wonderful?

My husband and I were driving through England last summer. Our home was in Scotland at the time. There were many places that wouldn't take any money that was from the Royal Bank of Scotland. Why not? It's the same money. Even the parking place at the airport wouldn't take the currency.

Why do so many people think that Scotland is in England?

Hi There,

I'm a 22 yr old girl from Sydney, Aus planning a move to Scotland. I've been researching a lot (these forums are great!) and have narrowed it down to either Glasgow or Edinburgh. I haven't visited either place for many years so I'd love some advice about which city might be best. I'm half-way through a journalism degree (by distance), and the most important factors are affordability; employment opportunities, and especially a friendly social scene.

Thanks so much for your help,

Ash.
