People, I am from Brazil and I'm planning to visit England for a week next December 2007. I would like to know about cheap places in terms of tickets, hotels, places to eat... everything!

I am planning to start my "journey" in London, but I don't know any interest cities to visit. Could you help me?

Thanks a lot and when some of you come to Brazil, just e-mail me. I live in Rio de Janeiro city.

I am 25 years old, brown and completely full of curiosity to know more about England and Great Britain.

My boyfriend and I are looking for something to do on the weekend. We've seen some vague information on At-Bristol Explore and Wild Walk, but the website isn't too specific about what kind of attractions these are.

Seeing as the entry is £15 for the two attractions, we'd like to know whether it's worth the pennies! Has anyone been? What's the whole thing like?

train stopped at a station called Missell. Does it exist?
The platform was very long yet the area around seemed to be rural. Notta lotta people. I had a conversation with a georgous man on the platform. There are two tracks that go past a tall railway building one track goes to the left and the other to the right.
anyone know this Missell or a similar name? thanks

Someone said there're some half-price tickets for the opera shown on the day in Leicester Square.

I'm going to London on weekdays in late March (not on Tuesday) and I would like to watch an opera. I will arrive in London at about 15:30. Usually, any half-price tickets still available in Leicester Sq. after that time?

Many people queue up for half-price tickets in the early morning every day??

(I'd like to watch the Phantom of the Opera)

THX!!

I live in London myself and I have to (okay, volunteered to) entertain a friend of a friend who is Australian and only arrived in London yesterday, so as yet she hasn't seen too much here. We're both female, aged mid-20s, don't have loads of money but not necessarily looking for an extremely cheap night either, and would appreciate some ideas!

I was thinking of a bar or a club, but need ideas on specifically where. Not really interested in shows, restaurants, etc.
