Generally, yes. But some of America's big cities have excellent public transportation.

Yes as is all of Europe. We have an antiquated nineteenth century system. Time to move to all new public system for city commuters using small -one to four people-elevated units separated from pedestrians.

As one visionary stated -if we can transport 3 men 200,000 miles to the moon, we can surely find a better way to transport 200,000 men three miles.

public transport in Britain is generally rubbish compared to Europe. As for states never been.

Tough to say, considering England isn't anywhere near as large as the US, and everything here is more spead out. It's not really a fair comparison.

Yes.
I'ts much smaller and closer together.. so less complicated. more trains/buses... more stops in more places.
