My sister has a fear of flying which has got worse in recent years. (She has done the fear of flying courses etc). I am looking for a web site that will trawl/search other web sites for good bus - rail - ferry routes to get her reasonably cheaply from London to Belfast and back.

I honestly don't want to visit them, happily married and all that, but working in soho in London, I often wonder how much money it costs to visit one. Well, someone must be visiting them, how much does it cost? (And please Yahoo! Answers people, don't moderate my question, it's a genuine query!!!)

I don't really hear anything about The Royal family making decisions like they used to, It's all about Tony Blair. He's likt the President right? If they no longer hold power . . . what do they do?

Ok I've asked before but without all the details. I'm an American citizen who recently tried to visit friends in the UK. When I arrived at the airport I was questioned about my reason for visiting pulled aside for more questions then sent back the the US because they said I didn't even have enough money to substain my visit. I was to stay for three weeks with friends. One of my friends was there to pick me up from the airport and was questioned. We were told that I should come back with more money next time and I would have to apply for entry clearance before I could return. So, how much money should I have just to visit friends for 5 days? What is entry clearance? Is it the same as a visa? Should I just fly back with more money and try again?

I'm planning on moving from the U.S. to the UK (not sure which part yet, England or Scotland.)

How hard was it? Do you regret it? Do you miss home? How did your family take it? Etc etc.
