Have I....I lived there for many years. Seen one light bulb seen them all.

That aside....I would recommend that you take a tram ride instead of being stuck in traffic on the prom as you could be sat there for a very long time - not nice as the car over heats and children can only stick their heads out of the sunroof for so long.

As for weather it rains - take something warm and waterproof.

Check the BBC site below for weather and the other sites for show information.

Have a good time!

No need to shout, dearie!

I've done the Blackpool lights a million times. The trick is to go from south to north if you're driving along the sea front; or walk down and get the tram back. You'll need to wrap up warm as it's bracing :-)

Other than the shows at the Pleasure Beach (check out their website) or on the piers, I can't think of any shows. Mind you, after you've walked down the sea front, eaten fish and chips and bought a Kiss me Quick hat, you'll probably too knackered to do more.

Personally, the lights themselves are the star, no need for for than that!

yeah...been last friday. Takes a long time crawling along in a car (2+ hours)...in the mid-section near West pier, gave up and walk...it's ok but many lights are re-used from years ago.

I haven't seen any shows in blackpool...so i can't recommend.

You should wear comfy, warm clothing. Quite windy in the evening by the sea-side. Enjoy.

sorry i would rather stay at home with a cuppa and watch a good film with my kids than be there

Didn't think they were as good as last years lights but they are still pretty. As for clothes, wear jeans and a jumper cos the wind coming off the sea is freezing!
