i have looked on mulyi map and the AA site,,but cant decide which way to go to BLACKPOOL..We live in llanelli carmarthenshire,and would like the shortest route .i KNOW YOU CAN TRAVEL VIA NORTH WALES ,BUT IM WONDERING ,WHICH WILL BE THE BEST ROUTE ,WE ARE GOING EARLY thurday morning . your answers will be appreiciated.

Just straight up the M6 until you see the sign for Blackpool. Birmingham is going to be your worst bit, it might we worth going of the toll road.

i think ya should go up the m6 north, and pick up the m5 or m55, one of those two, and then just follow that road til u reach the golden mile!!

m4 to newport,then up to the m50,then m5 then m6 up to the m55,might not be the shortest distance but its all motorway and quicker.
