Some people say it's Edinburgh, others say it's Munich. The "athens of the north" is actually the unfinished monument - also knows as Edinburgh disgrace. I'm Edinburgh born and bred, it is a wonderful city and I wouln't change it for the world!

I don't know if thats what i would think instinctively but Edinburgh is an amazing place -
Its beautiful - it has lots of different types of architecture
You can find good good and its surrounded by beatiful countryside
Also the people are great.
