I will be taking a 11:30 pm flight out of JFK airport to London and will be arriving at approx 9pm to check in. Is there anyway to exchange money at Kennedy airport that late or is it better to order it from my bank and have it prior to the trip?

We need to go on holiday at the beggining of august and be back before the 21st but i cant find any cheap enough holidays.

There are 4 of us (adults)
It needs to be abroad
It needs to be hot
It must be near a beach
Some night life
It has to be all inclusive
For more than one week
and it can only cost about £1600 for all of us

Is it possible, if so, Please Help!

Well, I basically need a holiday, I don't know where I want to go or what I want to do. However watever I choose I will leave on June the 18th and have approx 3 weeks. I live in Perth, Australia. We are flying in 1 week to Cabo, Mexico from ERW with our 12 mo old son. We applied for his passport 12 weeks ago and are very stressed about not having it yet (we have called, emailed, and spoken to our DE congressman).
I did see today that they have lifted the restrictions, and you can use a state issued ID (I went today and got his ID done) AND also a US Dept Of State receipt stating that you have applied for a passport.
What receipt is this? I have the receipt from the post office where we applied. I called my post office, but they don't even know yet that the restrictions have been lifted.
Any ideas? Suggestions? I really don't want to be delayed, or miss this trip!

Using USPS (note: four letters) because UPS and FedEx are too expensive.

It's light, just a PS2 game or two, but I don't know the proper procedures for shipping out of the country.

Also, it can easily take an hour and a half, two hours to get to a window at my post office, so I want to go prepared.

What do I need to do?

Can you send first class with delivery confirmation out of the country? I'm on a game trading site and that's how it says I'll send, so I need to know if I need to change that or what.

I know this isn't really a travel question but I don't know where else to put it.

My favorite thing to do is to just take a drive and go where ever, as far as I could until I ran out of money or gas. But since I can't do that, I guess I'll have to go to my favorite park on the outside of town and sit by the water and think or take picture or write poetry. Even the walk is tranquil.

The end of July and beginning of August is a big travel time when hotel prices go up. Also, it's notorious for hot, hot, and humid weather in normally ideal travel icons like Florida.
Unfortunately, my boyfriend and I decided a long time ago to celebrate our one year anniversary in 'someplace nice' (warm beaches) like Florida.
I'm terribly ignorant on travel. Does anyone know if the weather there is truly a lost cause and, if so, have any recommendations for a replacement location? Or is it alright, do people flock to Miami around that time?

My husband has criminal record from when he was young for posession of Narcotics. It has been well over 5 years so he is able to apply for a pardon, but that takes too long. With a passport, which contries will he be granted entry to with no complications?
