Using USPS (note: four letters) because UPS and FedEx are too expensive.

It's light, just a PS2 game or two, but I don't know the proper procedures for shipping out of the country.

Also, it can easily take an hour and a half, two hours to get to a window at my post office, so I want to go prepared.

What do I need to do?

Can you send first class with delivery confirmation out of the country? I'm on a game trading site and that's how it says I'll send, so I need to know if I need to change that or what.

I know this isn't really a travel question but I don't know where else to put it.

USPS.com can help you out a little. Just pack it well wrap it up in brown paper put the address on it. Like any other package except it will cost more going to Canada. You do not need to do anything special with it.
If it is an ebay sale, go to UPS, they give a 10% discount for ebay sales. You just have to show them proof of that.

The US Post office will charge you more to send something to Canada, but, yes, of course you can send small packages.

You've already had some good answers. Just take your pre-wrapped package to the post office and tell them that you'd like to ship this package to _____. Shipping internationally isn't much different than shipping to your own country. The only thing that I'd like to add is that you need to ask the post office about insurance. It's extremely inexpensive and SOOOOO worth it. If you're shipping any kind of games that have batteries, the batteries must be removed from the game before packaging.

Yes, delivery confirmation can be done. Just ask for it at the window when you go up. It's just like mailing any other package.
