I plan on going this Spring so I'm starting to save now... I plan to stay a week and wanted to know if anyone has recomendations on where to stay that isn't so pricey? I found this site lovingamsterdam.com that has apartments. I'm thinking that's my best shot. Any advice? Also do all Europeans hate Americans like I hear? I am a 50 year old lady who dresses well but refuses to buy too many expensive designer things, and I would like to know about styles, casual, beach and for bouzoukia in Greece this summer. I will also be attending a baptism. I already have city shorts with crossover tops, white skirts, black and white prints for top and bottom, espadrilles, big sunglasses and lots of head scarves and headbands. What else? Is there a website with magazine pictures of fashion? I am not going to buy a whole new wardrobe, but a few key pieces would be OK. I am not fat, but not skinny like a 25-year old either, short and naturally blonde (ok, grey, these days!!!).

I'm going to do a semester abroad and I can't decide between France and Spain, I know some French and always wanted to go to France but now I want to learn Spanish and I've been to told Spain is the place to be. I need some help finding a photo or image of the Coat of Arms for the town of Slovenska Ves in Slovakia. It is a blue shield with an image of St. Mary holding baby Jesus.

I found a photo of it here: http://www.ngw.nl/int/slo/s/slovenve.htm , but its too small and gets distorted when I try to enlarge it.

I know it is a really small village and may be hard to find. I looked everywhere online I could think of, but came up with nothing. Yahoo Answers is my last resort.
