I am a 50 year old lady who dresses well but refuses to buy too many expensive designer things, and I would like to know about styles, casual, beach and for bouzoukia in Greece this summer. I will also be attending a baptism. I already have city shorts with crossover tops, white skirts, black and white prints for top and bottom, espadrilles, big sunglasses and lots of head scarves and headbands. What else? Is there a website with magazine pictures of fashion? I am not going to buy a whole new wardrobe, but a few key pieces would be OK. I am not fat, but not skinny like a 25-year old either, short and naturally blonde (ok, grey, these days!!!).

I would say that the fashion in greece are pretty much the same as the general fashion in other countries. City shorts is a safe choice. Women here like to dress in colors (it looks very good with some tanned skin). Bring some pair of shorts in neutral colors (white, black, beige) and wear something more colorfull on the upper body. Or try red shorts or linnen pants, very nice for a hot summer night. I see on the streets here where I live that red is a big color this summer. Also white. Leggings are still big here, nice to match it whith a flowing tunic and a belt, either at the waist or lower. Small bags with long shoulder straps crossed over the body hanging on the side/back is very popular also. The full lenght dress that is coming in fashion now around the world is not so big yet here. But what is most important is- wear what you feel comfortable in, thats when you are gonna look great! I think the fashion here is more "open" I have lived both in sweden and in greece so I have something to compare to. But, if i was gonna give you one advise; put your money on a nice pair of black leggings and some tunics to go with that!

in jersey EVERYBODY shops at abercrombie and hollister.. sure those are cute stores, but you can be more creative and have more style. if you are wearing what everybody else is wearing then you could go somewhere and see that girl wearing the same shorts or shirt as you. -sundresses are very popular and add a certain cuteness which boys like. - try charlotte russe, forever21, wetseal, american eagle, h&m, etc. those are a few cute stores that won't rip you off and give you a great fashion sense! hope i helped. also, if you are in the city, or a small town, those little shops tend to have cute clothes as well.

You are better off buying a few things there to wear, then trying to figure out what to buy here to take there. After all, what is in fashion in Greece can best be seen and bought in Greece.

Add plus is it's fun shop in country.
