I think the Media is a powerful tool and their the ones that carve ideas into peoples Minds. They play a powerful role in the way the Earth moves, But how accurate are their sources?
Do you think they Target certain minorities? Do they over-exagerate certain stories and add lies into it to attract viewers?
Opinions Please...
Thanks

As in when are there less tourists, so one can get a feel for what the Russian life is like minus all the annoying tourists? I am particularly interested in visiting St. Petersburg, Minsk,& Vladivostok. Perhaps Moscow, but I've heard people are not as pleasant there. Hopefully, I could time it so to as meet Valery Gergiev, that would be pretty neat! All answers are welcomed and thanks for your time!

There are many people who has no knowledge of turkish history and politics. but, interestingly, somehow, all of them have an idea about these stuff. i wanna ask them how they could have an idea about kurdish people because questions are one-sided and also ignorant-sided. what books did they read? or just heard from someone a couple of words and understood this issue?

there are many different origined people in turkiye like sunni, alevi, kurd, laz, cherkes, shafi, hanefi and so on. but, as a result, they are all turkish. if they come up with an establishing a new country for themselves, i dont know how many pieces do we have to divide turkiye to! but, this is impossible because all people in turkiye live peacefully except the little ones that filled up terroristic thoughts. pkk, which was founded by some racist kurds, have killed more than 30 thousands of people without distinction whether the victims were kurdish or not, children or not, european or not, american or not.

I'm staying in Greece for 99 days, which is 9 days past the 90 day limit. The Greek consulate told me today that when I am there, I can go to a POLICE STATION and request to extend my stay. I would then have to pay a daily fee for each of the 9 days that I am staying.

Does anyone know how much this daily fee is? Thanks!

I'm staying in Greece for a student-teaching program for 99 days, which is 9 days past the 90 day limit. The Greek consulate today said when I arrive at the Greece airport, I should immediately apply for RESIDENCY, so that I can stay those extra 9 days. They would not say how to apply for residency though.

Does anyone know who could help me out? I'd just like to know in advance, rather than waiting till last minute to do it.

I am working and studying in Denmark. I am from Lithuania, new EU country. I've heard that if you are from EU and work in Denmark you can get SU. So I wanted to ask:

Do I need a residence and work permit to get SU? (because now I only have studying permit which is said to allow to work either)

How many hours per week do I have to work to be eligible to get SU?

If it is necessary, how should I get residence and work permit?

Thanks for everyone who could share information with me.

I feel stupid for asking, but geography was not my best subject. Are "Serbia" and "Serbia and Montenegro" the same place? When I think of Serbia I think of USSR and COLD! When I think of Montenegro I think of Island and HOT! I'm just curious. If you have any websites with information please do share!
