Turkish people "claim" they are not racist against Kurds. However, how many would actually marry one??

For your info. I ask this question because I am curious. A person "hears" many different things and I wanted to know what the "opinion" was from the people themselves..I never met a Kurd and he said "sweet" words to me and I marry him. I am only 15. My mother was Turkish. But, she died when I was very young, so I was never able to learn about Turkish or Kurds for that matter. But, I heard different opinions about Turks and Kurds but they were all from foreigners. So I decided to ask "the people". If the "people" are anything like you, then I am happy to live where I am. But, I would like to believe that not all of them are narrow-minded. I feel it is people like you that give your own people a bad name. I am sure my mother was NOT your kind of people. God rest her soul.

there are a lot of provocative people here, and ur question seems one of theirs. i hope u havent asked this question on purpose.

there are many different orgined people in turkiye like sunni, alevi, kurd, laz, cherkes, shafi, hanefi and so on. but as a result they are all turkish. if they come up with an establishing a new country for themselves, i dont know how many pieces do we have to divide turkiye to! but this is impossible because all people in turkiye live peacefully except a little ones that filled up terroristic thoughts. pkk, which was founded by some racist kurds, have killed more than 30 thousands of people without distinction whether the victims were kurdish or not, children or not, european or not, american or not. now, i cant understand why people comment about kurds' freedom, this is not related to kurds, everybody in turkiye including kurds is against these terrorists. so turkiye is only dealing with these terrorists who has camps in north iraq to be trained to kill people.

u know, israel bombed the whole country, lebanon, because their a few soldiers were kidnapped by hizbullah which is a terroristic organization like pkk. so if our people goes on to be killed by pkk, to invade iraq is clearly our right.

turkiye is against all terroristic organizations, but i cant understand why the europa or the usa choose which organizations are the terrorist according to themselves. but dont forget; all terroristic organizations purpose something and they can hit you one day to even you dont see them as a danger.

coming to the answer of your question; as a result, kurds are turks, so nobody cant know how many different origined people married but it is clear that there are so many such couples.

i guess u came Turkey for holiday and u met a guy he was sweet cute polite he was a worker who works arroud of ur holiday place
well u talk with him and he says somethings to u. "he is kurd he doesnt has rights also Turks r talking but they r not doing anything etc etc." how sad. u r melting, u want to do somethings for him. marry with him and save him from Turkey, feel sorry for him

fact is different and u cant understand that but i say i dont know how many kurds live in my apartment i dont know who is kurd arround of me. how many kurds were in my classes i dont know i dont care and noone doesnt care. we r living well

I am Turkish, and I would marry a Kurtish people. It depends on people's quality. Not the race or Color.
Racizm is one of the last thing in Turkish and/or Kurtish people mind.
Also, there are millions of Turkish and Kurtish people get married. Check the senate.

Of course they marry each other.
I think the person that called you stupid, is a very stupid person herself...How can we educate people in different countries if people like that put down other people...The rest of the world doesn't have a very high opinion of Turkey as it is. So lets not judge people by their questions or answers for that matter. We are all entitled to our opinion. Let's show other countries, that we are not closed minded people, but open to discuss, and educate others.
