we are going to bulgaria at the end of june and although we are going all inclusive i would still like to know how much beer and common food and drink are there. does anyone know?

a beer in bulgaria is about 60p a pint, or approx 2 lev! Go and enjoy. I loved the wine and beer so much i bought a house out there!

We went 2 years ago i doubt it's changed much. In the capital, Sofia, so i guess the most expensive part, was no more than £1 for beer. We got a meal for three for £10 including desserts.

In a supermarket in Varna it would be about 50-60 Euro cents depending on the type. Bread - 30-50 Euro cents, ham - 4 Euro per kg, 1 roast chicken - 3 Euro; a pizza slice - 60 Euro cents; a cone of assorted ice creams - 0.60 - 1 Euro.
