My husband and I are going on a cruise to Jamaica, Mexico, Haiti, and Grand Cayman.

What activities are available for people who don't want to get into the water? I see there's alot of jet skiing and things like that, but my husband and I won't do that. We don't want to do anything that requires us to be out in the ocean. Being on the cruise boat is already pushing it for us :-)

I browsed the internet and get nothing under $85. I will use a car for a week in March. There are many dozens of small towns, not so much touristic in P. R.. Will I easily find real cheap hotels when I will explore the Island by my-self? (I mean under $40)

I'm not concerned with the number of days the cruise will be. I just want to find the best deal. When would be a good time to book? and what places would be good to go? I need a vacation!!! :0) maybe March 08? what would be the best places to go during that time?

Sorry about all the questions..

I would like to know, from those who have first hand knowledge, which Caribbean Islands are the best to visit for two college girls that want to avoid the normal spring break vacation sites (Mexico). We are looking for activities like snorkeling, horseback riding, water skiing, etc. Also, we want a safe island and we don't want to spend a fortune.

If you have any recommendations for hotels that would be great as well. I need to know what islands to start looking into because I don't know anything about any of them. Language barriers are not a concern.

I went to Tulum, Mexico and loved it. I like to get a taste of local culture rather than experience the artificial environment of an all-inclusive resort. Safety is important and I am a fan of beach vacations. I'd appreciate any tips!

If a US permanent resident travels to the US Virgin Islands (a US territory) will he be asked for his foreign passport on the way back into the US, or is a green card and a driver's license enough to get him back into the country?
Urgent.
Thanks.

OK My bf wants to travel to cuba next summer he even has family there and we want to visit. But how do u travel here? I keep hearing that Americans can't go (he's cuban-american)
I already know u can't fly from the U.S., and you can't get your passport stamped, smoeone said you have to use cash only, and i've heard American's aren't supposed to be there unless its a misson trip or you're int he military (is all this true?) so how can you travel there without worrying about something happening? What can and can't you do?? give me some info.

Just booked a vacation to jamaica for February. We will be at the Gran Bahia Principe Hotel in Runaway Bay. It's supposedly a 5 Star Hotel. Now everybody warns us to go to Jamaica. They say that it's a very dangerous place, people are violent. I have a hard time believing it, because jamaica seems to be offered in every travel brochure.
What do you guys think???
