Im 19yrs old and want to visit PR where my family is from, but Im not there to visit I want to take a vacation but where should I stay.Should I have a hotel or be in a resort? I need to go soon by july b/c i work all summer. Aslo I need the trip to be affortable

i am going to St. Thomas but i cant get anyone to go with me....i seriously do not want to go by myself because i think its not gonna be fun. Is it the kind of place i could go to alone and have fun? or

In reference to the question posted about who is a Trini in this section, I'm wondering - where in the world are you? Just curious - no need for exact details - but tell me your city and state, or if you're somewhere far like Aberdeen or Iceland! You know they say in every good thing there is a Trini!!

My family and I visited Paradise Island in the Bahamas several years ago and stayed at the Comfort Suites which is right next to Atlantis and you're allowed full access to everything at the Atlantis. We plan on returning next spring and were considering staying at Atlantis. The Atlantis rooms are more obviously more expensive. Has anyone stayed there? Is it worth it to actually stay at Atlantis (convenience, room quality, etc.) or should we save our money and book at the Comfort Suites again?

OK here's what i wanna know:

am i gonna need a passport for St. Thomas? i am going there the last week of june. ive been all over the internet, and i am so unclear.

on one hand, i should get it to be safe cause its out of the country.
on the other hand, St. Thomas IS a US territory, and many websites, including the government travel website, are saying because of that, a passport is not necessary.

I dont mind getting a passport but with 7 weeks left, i dont want to pay for a expedite fee if i dont have to.
