I was just thinking about her the other day. I had travelled to Aruba several times before this incident. I had problems with the security at La Cabana when I reported a missing bathing suit. A man showed up at my door in full military regalia. Then he accused me of making a false claim. When I got home and developed my photos, I realized I actually had a photo of myself in one of their lounge chairs. I feel so bad for her family. The authorities there are miserable to deal with and protect their own first and foremost. I, for one, will never go back to Aruba until this case is solved and they fully illustrate to prospective tourists how they have improved security island-wide.

She got very drunk and took XTC and then she died. The creep that was with her when she died, buried her somewhere. Since his father was a lawyer and his godfather the chief of police, the authorities couldn't believe that he had anything to do with it and let the first valuable days of investigation go by. After that this piece of dirt played the police like a pro, with help from his father and godfather. He won, but Aruba lost and the Halloways too and that's the story.

She is still missing. I heard that authorities tried to look in an area they had searched before but I guess nothing came up.
