I have been there, it is heaven on earth. Beautiful green grass everywhere, beautiful palm trees, great golfing, far enough away and yet close enough to civilization. BEAUTIFUL!

I have never been to that hotel. But it looks beautiful. It is not in San Juan, but luckily it is near 'El Yunque' Rain Forest, which is a Must See when you are in Puerto Rico. Also there are beautiful beaches around there. I suggest you rent a car if you want to see the other sites on the island like the Morro in San Juan, Old San Juan, Biolumenescent Bay, Camuy Caves & the Arecibo Observatory (in movie Contact). Or atleast take a bus trip 1 day to San Juan & walk around. Otherwise I think you will love this hotel & enjoy the pool & the beach it offers! ENJOY!

I worked at the Westin Rio Mar for a few years at the front desk. Is a nice resort, with several pools, nice rooms and suites, 2 fantastic golf courses (one design by Greg Norman and the other by the Fazio brothers). When I left they had 7 restaurants. Tennis courts, basketball courts. Is right on the ocean. El yunque is very close, maybe 10 min driving time. San Juan is about 45 min. to an hour traffick depending. Yes,I know the hotel because I live in PR. This hotel is a very peaceful, with a good beach, golf course and good food. This hotel became part this year of the Wyndham family, the chain that carry so many luxury hotel in the states. The bad part for you is this hotel is situated a little far for San Juan (around 45 min. without traffic) and the main see sites of the island, near them you only found our rain forest "El Yunque". If this is your firts trip to PR I recommend to you to found another hotel near the San Juan area.

Yes, it is a great hotel. Far from Old San Juan and a lot of sites to see. If you are in for Kayak adventures you are 30 min or so to Bio-luminescent bay in Fajardo- ask in the Hotel.

Great resort great f Golf course colose to Fajardo, Puerto Rico. visit this site http://www.holasanjuan.com. Go to plus section so you can see the beautiful fluorescent Bay in Fajardo not the vieques one. In summary great place to stay, Raul
