In other words, what time of the year should I go when its least likely to rain?

The rainy season obviously means the hurricane one which is from June 1st to November 30th.

Although June-September is the rainy season. It can rain in January. But in Barbados you could be in one place and it rains in another, you could see or feel the rain shower sweep over you. Then it only rains for about 20 minutes. I'm saying this because the two best times to go to Barbados is January for the Jazz festival and July for Crop over festival.

January to June is the dry season.
