Everywhere I go in the U.S, Canada or United Kingdom people are surprise to hear that I am Jamaican, maybe this is because of how I act. People should know that Jamaica is a CIVILIZED COUNTRY.

I'm trying to find a great all inclusive resort to stay at in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Someplace that has great nightlife, clean accomodations, great staff, etc.....I'm 28 years old, single, and am going with my family, we like to relax in the sun during the day and party at night..... Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

I'm thinking of taking my wife on a trip shortly but cannot decide between Aruba and Bahamas. I'm looking for both lots of fun during the day and at night. Any suggestions, comments or reviews by other members?

Thanks in advance! :-)

I am going on an 8-day Eastern Carribean cruise. I'd like to do some things on my own for a few hours, but not be tied down to what the cruise line offers in the way of shore excursions. The islands I will be going to are: USVI, BVI, Antigua and the Bahamas.

My GF and I are looking for a warm place to go for NYE. We live in Chicago, and were thinking somewhere in the Caribbean or Mexico would be nice. Don't want to stay in a dump, but don't want to spend a fortune either...

We are trying to plan a trip to Jamaica. There are so many different resorts to choose from. We are looking for all inclusive trips. Does anyone have any good/bad advice about any specific resort? We just got married and are planning the trip for next year. Thanks for any help!

We are planning a 10-day trip to Kingston/Barabados for the last 10 days of April 2007. Seeking information for inexpensive accomodation for four adults. Bed-and-breakfast, guesthouse, etc. type of arrangement preferred. Since the trip is during World Cup Cricket, prefer staying with a family interested in cricket living in a decent, quiet neighborhood with a TV.

Will contacting concerned consulates/embassies be helpful? Or, should I post an ad in newspapers in Kingston/Barbados? If so, which newspapers? Any other way to get such accomodation? What do you consider inexpensive/reasonable for the month of April?
