I was approved for SSI here in New York but i wanted to move to Puerto Rico and I have heard that i cant get SSI there...that i will lose it.

It's true..if you moved and received your check by direct deposit ..it's Fraud...

It's because as a territory, and not a state.. Puerto Ricans don't pay federal taxes, so they aren't allowed certain benefits provided by the federal government.

I live in PR and yes you will lose it. Your better off staying in the Big Apple, Trust me.

Looks like you better keep getting knocked up and stay on Medicaid for life, or you might have to get a "job" if you move to P.R.

YES YOU CAN. I KNOW PLENTY OF PEOPLE WHO RECEIVE SSI IN PUERTO RICO. IT'S YOUR RIGHT.
