Me and my friend are planning on taking 10 days to go on vacation next june or july. We really want to go to Jamaica very badly mostly cuz of all the music and in july they have a huge reggea concert called sumfest. But there are lots of things we've been reading on how dangerous it is (2 girls by ourselves). Its our first vacation outside of the states and we wanna go tropical. Any ideas on where to stay in Jamaica(montego bay, ocho rios, negril?) or any other caribbean islands you recommend that we could get similar atmosphere and music?? we also want to take the trip that will make our money go the farthest. we are budgeting for $2500 a piece.

1. Will a rental car be necessary? I'm thinking maybe just taxi
or shuttle bus, or rent a bike? Mostly just going to relax at the
resort (Oyster Bay Resort). Maybe not too practical to rent a
car, if getting around is really easy.

2. Any ideas on what to do, what to see, where to go, or
where to eat while there? Any great day trips or excursions?

I am going on a cruise next week with my boyfriend. We are

We just booked our honeymoon and I have been reading so much things on the internet about the food, food poisoning, flies on the food, nothing to do, nasty rooms, and no A/C??? etc etc etc. I am wanting to know what you think? We want our wedding to take place on a beach and then rent a yacht to sail the caribbean for the honeymoon. We have seen some web sites but we are not impressed by what we have seen. Would like to know if someone has had such an experience and which agency they used.
Also, neither my fiancé or me have sailed before so we would like to hear all the details since we are a little worried of getting sea sick.
