We want our wedding to take place on a beach and then rent a yacht to sail the caribbean for the honeymoon. We have seen some web sites but we are not impressed by what we have seen. Would like to know if someone has had such an experience and which agency they used.
Also, neither my fiancé or me have sailed before so we would like to hear all the details since we are a little worried of getting sea sick.

Hello, my vote goes for Puerto Rico and particularly the island of Vieques http://www.viequestravelguide.com/
which is becoming a hot destination for weddings.

There are some wonderful sailiing charters in Fajardo, Puerto Rico.

Have a wonderful honeymoon.

sailing in Jamaica is hard and dangerous...mainly because there aren't many good harbors close together......DONT DO IT!!!

now, St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands with a wedding at Bolongo Bay; you're getting married in America so you save all sorts of hassles; your people can fly from the mainland to the US Virgins w/o a passport; you can then catch one of a dozen crewed yachts out of STT to the British Virgin Islands....a different harbor to anchor in every night and no more than a few hours underway......or none at all!.........if you're feeling queasy on any day

It may cost a little more but do the wedding on one island and catch a yatch at another. For some reason they don't have the two together in a perfect situation from just one island.

Jamaica is definitely the place to go.
