In 1996 we both worked for BC Parks as part of our study. Scott studied at UBC. I did the university in Holland. I lost track of him. I mailed UBC but they say they could not help me for privacy reasons. He is not listed in the phone book, I came back to BC a few times and checked. Next spring I will be back in BC and it would be nice to visit him too.

Where can I find him? Thanks.

I am planning to fly into Vancouver Airport this January. I won't have a car so I need to find transportation to Whistler-Blackomb ski area. I am trying to find one of the cheapest ways to get up there. I saw an ad in their guide for a luxury motor coach that was $61 one way. Is there anything cheaper than that? I only need transportation to and from the mountain, I do not need it while I am there. I will have my ski equipment with me too.

I'm early 40's, used to ski alot when I grew up in Ontario Canada, have lived in australia almost 20 years & have decided I want to live in the Whistler area for a year...I've never even been there. Am I crazy? I've been living in a big city (sydney), doing the rat race thing & need a year to look at things from the outside...what do you think?????
Thanks

I collect city pictures and was wondering the best location to see the city. Either from the air (building) or from the ground level.

I am a native born New York City guy, I am 20 yrs old. My parents are thinking about moving to Vancouver and I was a little worried if I would be happy. I did some searching and Vancouver came up as one of the best cities to live in. Thats good.

But there is so much going on in NYC that you never get bored, there are so many people, so many new places. I wonder if the clubbing scene will be as fun as it is in NYC. These are all questions that worry me.

I will be safer in Vancouver, its cleaner, nicer people, great outdoors. I just dont want to feel that feeling I get after a while of being in the Suburbs. Its great but after a while I need my Time Square fix, lights and buzz.
