This website just launched not too long ago:

If you're into snow sports, the local mountains are only around half an hour away by car, or Whistler Blackcomb is 2 hours drive from Vancouver.

Yaletown is a good bet for bars and good food, Granville St is probably the best place for bars and clubs. Also try Commercial Drive for good food/bars.

Shopping: Pacific Centre in downtown, Richmond Centre in Richmond and Metrotown in Burnaby.

It will probably be fairly cold, about 4 degrees celcius on average, but it almost never snows, meaning very little ice, etc. Just be careful of the rain. I would try and take in a Canucks game, or at least do the Vancouver Aquarium and Chinatown. Try the downtown Holiday Inn, it's fairly reasonable and most of the rooms have a nice view. The Vancouver Art Gallery is pretty cool too. Stanley Park is great, and you should try and go up to Whistler and just walk around the ski village. If you have time, you should take a BC Ferry to Vancouver Island and check out the Empress Hotel and the Butchart Gardens in Victoria.

Up to one of the Ski Hills, Whistler, Cypress, Grouse or Seymour. All beautiful places, on a clear day, Cypress has really nice view of Vancouver. I don't really know hotels downtown. To eat, Robson Street has lots of food and shopping. Shopping downtown, Richmond Centre, Park Royal in North Van or Metrotown though not very close by. Bars, well I'm too young to know! Stanley Park is also a nice place to walk around. Granville Island is great. They have a large food market and its nice to just walk around. A really good restaurant in Granville island is Sand Bar, excellent seafood. Hope that helped, enjoy Vancouver!

hi Alison there are a number of stuff to do in Cancun, yet do no longer omit Xelha (water park), Tulum (mayan ruins via the sea) and if available flow to Chichen Itza the main extraordinary mayan ruins i've got considered. purchase an insect repellent and consistently drink bottled water elementary to purchase everywhere. I stay in Veracruz, the port via the coastline I easily have in no way heard of a Malaria case around right here.... you will love the coastline at Cancun and probable dislike it at Veracruz, right here because it somewhat is the main intense port for import/export of the country the water is polluted and the sand isn't white...yet besides the nutrition is excellent! try the black beans, and the city is advantageous too. Villahermosa is south of Veracruz, and México city is north, so... i do no longer see the relationship somewhat. i might recomend you to flow to Puebla somewhat, is the organic supply up, because it replaced into based via the Spaniards as a place to kick back contained in the direction of the way from Veracruz to Mexico. it somewhat is a colonnial city with aprox 2 million human beings between the best cousine interior the country, a great number of history and a sought after section too.
