My Fiancé and I are taking a road trip to Thunder Bay Canada. It will take us two days and no doubt we shall stop off at a motel along the way. I have been to many, many hotels and they all have towels. Do motels have towels too or should I pack them?

Thank ^_^

Hi,

I am planning to have a 2 or 3 weeks getaway to Canada in the summer. I know for sure that I will be flying to Vancouver, BC as my port of entry. I really want to go to see the Canadian Rockies. I heard people saying Lake O'Hara in BC, some say Banff in AB. What are the 'must-visit' places in that area?

Also, should I drive (rent a car), ride a train, or fly? I might want to continue eastward to Montreal/Toronto after the rockies. Please help me. Thanks!

I'm planning to move to Vancouver this June. I've heard a lot of good stories about the city. I'm a nature lover, and I'm not really into nightlife activities such as clubbing etc, well, except for cozy pub/piano bar. I'm a culinary student, and I've heard Van has nice restaurants.
So, I'm kinda looking for a peaceful place to live in.

I'm planning a trip to Alaska from Oregon. I have found very little info on requirements for entering Canada. I really need any info on gun and pet requirements & restrictions. Also ID needed, such as passport or picture, birth certificate etc. I have heard money is needed to be shown to border personnel. How much, & is it per person or vehicle or entire party if taking multiple cars. Any & all entry info greatly appreciated. I have called many agencies & been told conflicting info. Also I would love to hear about the trip itself. Like how are the roads, Places of interest. Also what is the farthest distance between gas stations? This is our first trip to Alaska & we are very excited to visit. Thanks for any help you can provide.

We're going in June..My husband, our daughter and me...We're staying in Vancouver. Whistler looks like a beautiful place but being from the deep south, we do not ski or snowboard and neither of us play golf. We enjoy sightseeing, dining out and going for long walks...Any suggestions for both Vancouver and Whistler will be appreciated. Can you make it to Whistler and back to Vancouver in 1 day trip? Are there any dinner trains? We love doing that sort of thing. Can you ride a ski lift up the mountain just to check out the view? Please don't laugh at my questions...
