Okay, what do you mean by "all set"?

If you were "all set" with a work visa, permanent resident status, and the like, you would also be "all set" with enough money and/or a sponsor to help you get on your feet here in Canada. Canada Immigrations makes sure new immigrants are ready to start a new life.

If you don't have the paperwork done yet to come to Canada, then this: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/ is where you start.

By all set do you mean that you have a work visa and sponsor or landed Immigrant status? If you don't, your plan to settle in Canada is illegal and will likely not be a fun ride.

Either way, having excellent writing and speaking English skills is essential. Canada has many legal Immigrants with Doctorates etc who mop floors and clean washrooms or pick fruit off trees all day because they don't have the English skills or transferable education.
