well yes parking seems so simple doesn't it...the government of Canada does not see it that way. The problem at hand is not having the space to store the vehicle. My question is a legal matter and I suppose is a political issue. I have searched the internet for answers, and have gotten nowhere. I am looking for where to turn to get a legal permit for this U.S. vehicle to be temporarily in Canada( for more than 30 days)...thank you for your answers.

If the person is a Canadian Citizen, residing in Canada, and bringing over a vehicle registered to them, and wanting to keep it over 30 days, the Canadian Government sees that as an import. The ONLY way to get around this would be to store the vehicle near the Can/U.S. border on the U.S. side.
