How do you find this neighborhood? Which are the best neighborhoods for students in Winnipeg?

I meant for students at UoM who do not have a car. Fort Richmond is a bit awkward for grocery!

Great neighbourhood. :) For students, it depends where you are going to school. You are going to love Fort Gary and Fort Richmond if you go to the U of M; but it will be a pain if you go to school at Red River College. If you go to school at the U of W; I like the Wolsley area so you can walk to school. (I am also a sucker for the older houses that are made into character apartments) Red River College is a bit harder to find "nice" lodgings. That is where I would suggest Tuxedo so you can get onto Route 90 easier.

Good luck at school! :)

This neighborhood is upper class and a very quiet nice part of Winnipeg, as with all larger cities problems in every area

Crescent Park/ Tuxedo are great places to live and for students

Osborn Village is a good area for someone without a car. I lived there for 10 years. There are direct bus routes right to UOFM.
