I want to go to New Zealand for a 3 month holiday. while there I would like to apply for a job hopefully as A Private Banker. If my job is not on the 'work needed' list, would it still be posible to get a job offer and eventualy a work permit. Also have anyone heard of any South Africans that has done this.

I have heard about this island in a TV program years ago. Thera are no TV, no Banks, no money, and the people work together to do anything they need. There is only a boat every month from and to N.Zealand and if the people have helth emergency, they cah coll helicopter help from N.Z through an amator radistation. Does this island exist and where can I find more informations about it?

The climate(cold, rainy or cloudy), good food in this period, good place to go in northerneast part of NZ, etc.

I've long dreamed of hitting the road, caravan attached and kids in the back and exploring Australia.

One thing that holds me back is the kids education. I know that lots of people do the big trip. But how do they manage the kids education?

My kids are 9 and 8 at the moment.

I would love to hear from anyone who has done this before.
