Its a very mixed culture with people form many countries. In particular, English, Italian, Greek, Vietnamese. Asia and lots more.

We enjoy many sports, Aussie Rules, Rugby, Softball, Basketball, Surfing and many beach activities as most people live near the coast. Its a big place with climates ranging from snow fields in parts of Victoria and New south wales, to many rain forests.

The Additional culinary compilations from different cultures gives us many good food choices.

apart from Mordak - all the answers you have to date are from morons that wish they actually lived in Australia but don't. In general however, Australian culture is all about maintaining a good work/play lifestyle. It's got great weather, which means we play a lot of sport and spend a lot of time outdoors. As a result there are a lot of festivals too keep you occupied throughout the year, no matter what you are into.
