Thongs (no, not the underwear), zinc-smeared noses and the red-and-yellow hats on the lifesavers at Bondi Beach....followed quickly by a koala.
I'm from Melbourne! I think I just blasphemed...
(No, the koala is not literally following the lifesavers, it's just the next mental image I get... sheesh, what do you think I am: crazy?)

Honestly, I think of racial discrimination. My aunt experienced it during her wedding to an Australian. Somebody commented that there was another 'mail-order Filipino bride' getting married. It made it in the news there and here in Manila.
Aside from that, I think of koalas, the Sydney Opera House and the Uluru.
