Planning my trip to KL (my last was in 1983!).
1st day at Theme Park. Sunway or Genting or A' Famosa?
2nd day shopping at One Utama or Mid-Valley or KLCC?
3D/2N only due to budget/time constraint. Checked with a few local travel bureaus & they all give different opinions! Thought maybe ask the "experts" - KL ppl. :-)

KL taxi drivers not switching on their meters & taking tourists for a ride. How true is it? or is it being exaggerated?

KL crime - robbed at knife point as mentioned by someone in Yahoo! Answer. How serious is KL crime?

I know - so many questions. Sorry, have to know. I'm from Kuching, don't know much about KL.

There hasn't been any beheading in Sarawak since WW2 or so, and the tradition has died although some Iban longhouses still keep skulls.

But there has been a lot of beheadings in Iraq over the last 4 years and they might deserve the title.

What do you think

When I was studying in West Malaysia I encouterd some problems with eating pork. My housemate's friends were Malays, everyday they came to our place and I had some pork sausges and then my friend found the sausage and he asked me what sausage is this and I said pork. Next day I found my sausage in the trash can.

Next time I bought some pork sausages I told them it is chicken mixed with beef and next day those guys ate all of my sausages and said it is very sedap, they ask me to bring them some more. "Sure..." and I brought them more and until now they don't know it was sosej babi. It was their fault, right? They felt too much at home in my house...otherwise I always tell Muslims if it's non halal meat.

You think I should tell them or not?

And what are your favorite Malaysian pork dishes?

You will find that all trade stores refuse to accept their own 1-cent coins in Malaysia, although it is of course legal tender there. Aren't they breaking some law by not accepting that money?

Dia teleh menentukannya

Kita bertemu dan bercinta

Inilah oh takdirnya

Bukan kerana harta

Inilah citra cahaya cinta

Pintu hatiku telah kau buka

Tak mampu ku menafikannya

Kejujuran diberi kasih takkan terhenti

Ini bahagia yang ku cari

Sayangi daku peluklah daku

Janji denganku semai cinta nan satu

Tuhan menguji takkan berhenti

Hanya ku pinta sama setia menjaga

Hingga ke alam syurga…

Repeat verse 1

Sayangi daku peluklah daku

Janji denganku semai cinta nan satu

Tuhan menguji takkan berhenti

Hanya ku pinta sama serta menjaga

Hingga ke alam syurga…

Hingga ke alam syurga…

Sayangi daku….

Thank you

UK Immigration Officer: Purpose of visit?

Visitor: I'm here to study law, sir.

Officer: You know, you must have a lot of lawyers in Malaysia .

Visitor: Why do you say that?

Officer: Well, i've been here for a good twenty years, and I'd say 80% of Malaysians I see here say they're here to read law.

Visitor: Oh, really? That's really something i never knew. Hard to believe in fact.

Officer: Just you watch, then. You just stand here until the next Malaysian comes along, and I'll bet he's here to read law.
