I guess its just because of the permit issue and stuff but he's already done this before, why are they arresting him now? Have you guys seen the way the police manhandled him?

if he is malay malaysian, they will give him a 'datukship'. He was let off the last time and given a warning. Now he did it again. I say let him go. Poor bugger..

Gabriel's probably right, it must be because Malaysia is so fond of protecting local things, so it must be to ensure that Cicakman remains the only superhero of Malaysia.
Police manhandled him like that to take revenge for 200 years of colonisation - evethough Malaysia was colonised by British, not by French, policemen are too dumb to tell the difference: every white man is "mat salleh" for them and they think Europe is a country.
But 'Spiderman' should get his permits first, he'd be in trouble in any country without permits (and he has been), although Malaysian treatment is extra bad.
