I know not a lot about the visa I have to get as I enter bangkok. Does it cost me any money? I am planning to stay for around 5/6 months with my brothers that stay there for most of the year as they have wives and children there. I am however 25 and am open to any suggestions about where to visit, how much money I need for the stay, visa, working there if I can so I don't have to save as much before I go ect...
Any advice will be apprieciated.

I'm stopping over in Tokyo for one night, and I'd like to see the city. I'm just a typical Canadian guy, I don't know any Japanese or anything, but I'd like to go into the downtown area and walk around, go eat some sushi, hang out at a bar with some english speaking locals, and see what ever else I should see before my flight leaves the next morning. Hi...

It is my understanding that squat toilets are available in places like Japan and so forth, but does anyone know where such an item can be sourced in the UK? Any good websites that possibly sell this?

For clarity, when I say a squat toilet I am referring to the type that is commonly used in non-western countries and is essentially a porcelain bowl that is practically flush with floor level thus requiring the user to squat rather than sit.

Any info. would be great!!!
